Yarn Plate Cross
....
Directions: Punch 4 sets of 4 holes in a styrofoam plate; measure yarn out by yards, tape to back and use plastic yarn needles and let the kids go to it
Supplies: styrofoam plates; yarn; plastic yarn needles; scissors; tape
Notes: Some just did the lines and some went all over the place; remind them to be a bit gentle - the styrofoam will tear (which was why the holes were easy to punch!); I drew out a cross on paper first and cut it out to use to line up my holes - with older kids you could maybe let them punch their own holes?
