"Walk by Faith" Tin Can Stilts
We walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
Directions: download pdf below; copy; kids color and cut out; take 2 tin cans or coffee cans (whatever is big enough and both the same size) and use a hammer and large nail to punch holes in opposite sides of the can; thread rope (or old phone cord wire in my case!) through the holes and tie so that the loops reach roughly to the child's waist; tape the memory verse pieces to the cans; the child stands on the cans and holds the rope, lifting the rope and feet at the same time to walk on the stilts!
Supplies: paper; crayons; scissors; 2 large tin cans; hammer and a nail; rope of some kind; tape
Notes:my daughter colored the labels for me!; I put the can lids on so that she could use it inside and not scratch the floor; if you need a better idea of how to make it, just type "tin can stilts" into your search engine - there are plenty of examples out there
