Haman Shaker
Esther
"My life is in your hands." Psalm 31:15
Directions: download pdf below; copy (1 copy for each 3 kids) (I recommend colored paper if you have it); cut apart; kids color and/or add stickers; tape to an empty spice container (or whatever you have the right size); fill container with 1-2 tablespoons of lentils (or rice - beans are too loud!); use packing tape to attach the lid
Supplies: paper, crayons, stickers (optional), Scotch tape, spice containers, lentils or rice, packing tape
Notes:I have read that during Purim the Jews read the story of Esther and the kids have noise makers to try to cover up Haman's name, so I let the kids shake these every time they heard his name as I read the story - they loved it! (but were hard to get to stop at times)
