Esther Play Style
Esther 1-10
Directions: copy cards onto card stock and cutapart; copy chapters of Esther, 1 per student; can randomly distribute the cards or let kids choose who they want to play
Supplies: paper
Notes: I did this with a group of 6th-12th grade girls and we had a great time with it, creating voices for the characters and so on; every word of the book of Esther (NIV) is in there, just with comments added by various characters; not every characters speaks every week, of course, so I would go through the script each week to sort out the cards needed and I put hash tags on little sticky notes so that I knew how many times each one spoke; I considered having props for each part, but we didn't really need them, so I didn't; Question Kid was modeled after a particular 8th grade boy at our church and I always read the "Mom" parts; if you wanted to use this idea but edit it, let me know and I could send you the original Word documents
