7 Churches
Revelation 2-3
(We had an adult Bible study on Revelation and I was in charge of the handful of kids who were coming, so I made crafts for them. Attendance was spotty at times and I was gone on vacation 2 of the weeks, so some chapters don't have crafts.)
Directions: download pdf below; copy; kids complete as you read the text
Supplies: paper, colored pencils or crayons
Notes: kids write the church number (1-7) on the envelope and a cross on the "back" of the envelope (because the message is from Jesus!); write the name of the church below the church and come up with a nickname ("elephant" for Ephesus, "sardine" for Sardis, and so on) to draw a picture of on the church; as you read, put tally marks under the happy/sad faces based on what Jesus says to the church (if they're being good or bad); draw a picture of the gift(s) Jesus says the Christians will receive if they are faithful (found at the end of each letter)
